Sea Fever Gear has recycled old sails into eco-friendly and eco-nomical gear since 1996. The company with their green product line was created and is run by two sisters, inspired by an old sail they found from their own family boat.
Sails range from spinnakers and dacron to high-tech Kevlar racing sails. With over sixty products and counting, gear runs the spectrum from totes and duffels to spinnaker jackets, shower curtains, Nauti-baby bids, sea bags, backpacks to Nauti-nities and much more. Sea Fever Gear has customers through-out the country but has a strong local following right here on the East Coast and especially right here in Chatham.
Sea Fever Gear is unrolling a community outreach program to promote awareness about recycling and is currently working with Chatham Recycles and The Orleans Elementary School.
