Christmas-by-the-Sea, a Chatham Merchants Association sponsored event

Christmastime in Chatham. Our quaint seaside village positively sparkles during the holidays.

The yuletide season kicks off in Chatham on Friday November 27.

At 1:30 pm on Sunday, Dec. 6 please be on hand for Santa's arrival at the Fish Pier, followed by a fire truck ride to the Chatham Community Center.

Friday, Dec. 11 is the beginning of a stroll that is pure Currier & Ives-something to write home about. We start with a light parade and caroling down Main Street followed by the tree lighting ceremony, bell ringers and more. Warm up with complimentary hot chocolate; hop on the carriage ride, marvel at the lights & the decorations as you stop to visit all our unique shops waiting to welcome you with warm refreshments, prizes, raffles and great gift ideas too.

Santa's workshop is here too - can you find Santa and his mailbox?

Kick off Saturday, December 12, as Santa and Mrs. Claus invite you to join them for a very special breakfast.

Saturday, December 12, take the inn tour (the Chatham Chamber of Commerce signature event of the season! See the gingerbread house display and decorations at the Chatham Bars Inn; join in some festive shopping around the town; visit the Lighthouse; become a child again and capture the magic of Christmas!

Christmas by the Sea events continue thru December 31 with First Night Chatham as the final holiday event of the 2015 season.
