DESCRIPTION

This is your chance to bake your grandmother’s favorite recipe in the Caleb house Beehive Oven. Enjoy a day at the open hearth in the keeping room as a variety of authentic 18th and early 19th century baked goods are prepared for cooking in the Beehive Oven and on the hearth. Come early (9 am) and see what it takes to get the Beehive Oven up to Baking temperature. Participate in the preparation or bring your already prepared recipe, shovel it into the Beehive oven, and share with all.
