The Chatham Maritime Festival is a community-sponsored event celebrating Chatham’s maritime heritage featuring fisherman’s contests of skill, tasty treats from our shores, children’s nautical crafts, musical entertainment and more.

The Maritime Festival sponsored by the Women Of Fishing Families begins at 9:30 am with a blessing of the fleet at the Fish Pier. Events of the day include the fishing contests - clam shucking, boot tossing, harpoon throwing, etc., plus children's craft activities, food vendors, arts & craft vendors, and evening entertainment. Festivities will continue to 10 pm in the Town Hall parking lot.
