DESCRIPTION

Patsy Cline is back this summer at HJT! If you are among the lucky who have seen Laura Cappello’s tour de force performance as the timeless Patsy Cline, don’t miss this opportunity to experience the magic again. If you have heard about this incredible show and haven’t yet seen it, here is your chance to see and hear what the thunderous praise is all about. This musical tribute to America’s country legend, beloved by music lovers of all tastes, ages and styles, has been described as “astonishing,” “masterful,” and “a knockout perfromance”. The story of extraordinary friendship between the strong-willed Cline and her fan turned friend Louise Seeger (Suzette Hutchinson) is told with warmth and humor. After over 100 performances and countless standing ovations, Laura Cappello’s embodiment of the 1950s star is nothing short of bewitching. Backed by the Bodacious Bobcat Band, including director Robert Wilder on piano, Capella doesn’t so much portray Cline as become her. Her voice, ranging from sorrowful to strong, carries the audience on a journey through 27 hits, including “Walkin’ After Midnight”, “She’s Got You”, “I Fall to Pieces” and “Crazy”. Don’t miss the return of this outstanding evening of humor and song.
