Enjoy over 100 Fine Art and Craft Booths, Rain or Shine.

The founders of the Creative Arts Center established the Center 40 years ago to mount a Festival of the Arts in Chatham. After two years of planning the Festival of the Arts was born. Now in its’ 38th year, one of the founders and Chatham resident, Marguerite Falconer, will grace the Festival with her smile and a booth. It is an honor for the Center to have her represented in the Festival, especially in this Anniversary year! She is known for her late 20th century oil harbor views and marine subjects. Prints of her work will be available for sale.

The Festival is located in Chase Park. Park at any of the town lots and either walk to the park via Cross Street or hop on the free Shuttle Bus from one of three designated pick-up points: Oyster Pond, Community Center on Main Street or the Elementary School off Hitching Post Road. The bus is in operation from 10 am – 5pm.

As the Center’s largest fund-raiser proceeds support its programs, yearly operations and community outreach. This years’ exhibitors are listed on the web site at: www.capecodcreativearts.org. In addition to the fine art and craft booths, face painting, easel painting and varies craft activities are being offered for a nominal fee at the Children’s Corner which is located directly across from the Pampered Palate food tent. Admission to the Festival is free, however, there is a suggested donation of $3. For more information call the Center at 508-945-3583.
