• Personal Trainers [Part & Full Time, Year-Round]

    Job Description

    Chatham Works is seeking to hire multiple Personal Trainers to coach our members in Team, Small Group, and Personal Training settings.  These training offerings will be based on based on proven functional training programming from Alloy Personal Training Solutions - one of the most highly respected training solutions companies in the fitness industry.

    Specific core duties required of the Personal Trainer position include:

    • Training members in Team Training, Small Group, and 1-on-1 formats utilizing company provided programming and protocols (see above).

    • Monitoring and maintaining health and safety standards and protocols.

    • Helping to maintain facility cleanliness and insure that all equipment is in proper working order.

    • Collecting and sharing staff and customer feedback.

    • Instructing Group Exercise classes (as applicable).  

    • Working a minimum number of “floor hours” per month.

    • Participating in all staff related meetings and other required activities.

    • Assisting in the development, implementation, and promotion of programs and events.

    • Actively yet tactfully promoting Chatham Works’ various offerings to both existing and prospective members.

    Additionally, physical demands of the position include the ability to walk through all areas of the facility; repetitive squatting, bending and lifting (e.g., 40 – 60 lbs.); restacking of weights; moving of equipment as necessary; and, the ability to demonstrate other exercise movements as part of a personal fitness workout.
