Lighting Repairs on Bourne Bridge - One Day Travel Restriction - May 25

One day travel restriction on Bourne Bridge on Tuesday, May 25; one lane in each direction, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

CONCORD, Mass. – Lighting repairs will take place on the Bourne Bridge, over the Cape Cod Canal, in Bourne, Mass., on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to officials from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District.

During the scheduled time for repair, travel over the Bourne Bridge will be limited to one lane of traffic in each direction. No wide loads will be permitted to cross the span.

State and local police will be on duty at all times work is being performed to assist the motoring public.

A message board, located at both approaches to the bridge, will advise motorists of work efforts.
