Jeff Bremner of Chatham Transfer Station recognized at the Third Annual CHAMP Homes Fragile Earth Awards

Hyannis, MA, June 26, 2008 - Paul Hebert, President/Executive Director, of CHAMP Homes presented the Fragile Earth Awards for 2008 during a special Award Breakfast on June 14th, 2008 at the Osterville Methodist Church.



This was the third year CHAMP Homes, a program of Housing For All Corporation, honored local Cape Cod residents for their efforts to protect our environment.



Jeff Bremner, foreman of the Town of Chatham Transfer Station was recognized because over the past years he has worked to improve the recycling efforts at the Chatham Transfer Station and affords CHAMP Homes the opportunity to redeem and recycle five cent beverage bottles.



Other recipients of the award were:



• Conrad Geyser of Cotuit Solar, leadership in renewable energy

• Senator Rob O’Leary, for his leadership in recycling, energy and environment

• Linda Doll and Neil Tanger, Christian Vegetarian Association

• Barbara Garrett Conrad and Judy Fitzpatrick of Unity Church of the Light Recycling Program



Since its founding just 17 years ago, CHAMP Homes, a program of Housing For All Corp., has served over 1,300 Cape Cod residents with supportive and affordable housing. They in turn have provided countless hours of service to the communities and added to the growth of our economy.
