Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28, the 15th Annual “Chatham Turkey Trot.” Fun run or walk over 3.1 miles of winding and rolling paved roads. Breathtaking scenery.
Founded by members of the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House (Chatham) and The Chatham Walkers, now an independent non-profit organization. Benefits Lower Cape Outreach Council. Register 7-8 AM, behind Orpheum Theater in Chatham, corner of Main Street and Stage Harbor Road.
Adults (13 and older): $15 + bag of non-perishable groceries; Youngsters 5-12: $5, and two grocery items; Under 5: free, with one grocery item.
Free T-shirts while they last only with pre-registration. Raffle as well as home-made pie sale.

Our final numbers for 2018 were:
- 2,350 participants registered
- $40,000 donation to Lower Cape Outreach Council
- a 20ft truck filled with groceries was delivered to the Lower Cape Outreach Council
