The Cape Cod National Seashore will host an information session on sharks, seals and public safety from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Nauset Regional Middle School auditorium in Orleans. Presentations will be followed by a question-and-answer session with panelists Gregory Skomal of the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries; Cynthia Wigren of the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy; Andrea L. Bogomolni of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution; Lisa Sette of the Center for Coastal Studies; and Leslie Reynolds, chief ranger of the Cape Cod National Seashore.
Experts will share the latest science and information on shark and seal research, and public safety, and will address public questions and concerns related to the risks posed by sharks.
Nauset Regional Middle School is located at 70 Route 28, Orleans.
