CARE for the Cape & Islands Day
Participants are invited to spend the morning to help with beautification and preservation measures on the grounds of this important wildlife and education center. Morning activities will include gardening, mulching, trail maintenance, planting, beach sweep among other tasks. In addition to the service component, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary’s history, be able to take a tour of the property and hear from the creators of the new Interpretive Food Forest Exhibit, funded by a 2018 CARE grant.
