Guided Labyrinth Walk at the Chatham Labyrinth
Kick off Mondays on Main Street with a guided walk at the Chatham Labyrinth!
Pilgrims Landing is pleased to host weekly guided meditative walks at the Chatham Labyrinth throughout the summer every Monday evening at 5:30pm beginning July 9th. The Labyrinth is located in Chase Park behind the Grist Mill, off of Shattuck Place. The labyrinth walks are a free event and open to the public.
A guide will be there each week to offer a different theme to use or reflect upon while walking the labyrinth. The themes for the walks are as follows:
July 9: Joy
July 16: Compassion + Action
July 23: Forgiveness
July 30: Hope
Aug 6: Mindfulness
Aug 13: Healing
Aug 20: Beauty
Aug 27: Gratitude
The labyrinth is an ancient circular pattern, perhaps derived from nature, with a single winding path that provides a meditative walk to the center and back out again. It’s been said that “The labyrinth is a spiritual tool meant to awaken us to the deep rhythm that unites us to ourselves and to that which calls from within. In surrendering to the winding path, the soul finds healing and wholeness.”
Pilgrim’s Landing is a non-profit Spiritual Life Center on Cape Cod working at the intersection of spirituality, education and social justice, and is “Home of the Chatham Labyrinth” offering year-round labyrinth education and programming for adults and children, and the opportunity to practice the mindful act of walking a labyrinth.
Our Mission is to inspire, support and accompany those on a journey toward a more compassionate, peaceful, and just world. By providing educational opportunities, meaningful experiences and a variety of resources, we are dedicated to the universal call to love and heal ourselves, our communities and our planet.
