Proposed Draft Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU) Bylaw
The Planning Board has identified the need for additional year-round, attainable housing in Chatham. The Board is currently working on a Protective (Zoning) Bylaw amendment to create Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs). These ADUs, also known as accessory apartments, encourage aging in place for seniors and create new housing while maintaining the character of single family neighborhoods.
A presentation and listening session regarding the Planning Board?s proposed Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) bylaw will be held on-
When: November 27, 2018 at 5pm
Where: Chatham Town Hall Annex- 261 George Ryder Road
AND
When: December 1, 2018 at 9:30am
Where: Chatham Community Center- 720 Main Street
