About Us
Fishing Partnership Support Services is a human resources organization that promotes the health, well-being and economic security of commercial fishermen and their families. FPSS port offices offer free health insurance help to fishing families as well as the entire community. Our Navigators are trained at the highest level with the state to assist consumers with understanding, applying and keeping health insurance. In addition, FPSS offers free or low cost programs to fishing families, such as; Dental Clinics, CPR/First Aid Certification, Financial Planning Workshops, Women's Wellness Workshops, Safety & Survival Training, Riverside Trauma for trauma support & counseling.
FPSS' Navigators have the unique understanding of the needs of the fishing community because they come from a fishing family or are fishermen themselves.
