    Outer Cape Health Services Announces Three New Medical Providers
    HARWICH PORT, MA – October 17, 2019 – Outer Cape Health Services (OCHS) continues to expand its medical provider team with the recent hiring of Dr. Brian S. Koll in Provincetown, and Dr. Laura Anthony and Family Nurse Practitioner Kimberly A. Irvine in Harwich Port.

     Brian S. Koll, MD, FACP, FIDSA, specializes in Internal   Medicine and is accepting adult patients in Provincetown.   Applying his extensive background in healthcare, Dr. Koll will   also act as Outer Cape Health Services’ Medical Director for   Quality, serving as the primary clinician champion for quality   improvement and safety across all OCHS departments.

     Dr. Koll obtained his undergraduate degree from Brown University and Doctor of Medicine degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York and his Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. In addition to his academic clinical practice, Dr. Koll was a Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, the Executive Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Control for the Mount Sinai Health System in New York and their Regulatory Compliance Associate for Patient Safety and Quality. He has authored numerous articles and has been recognized by New York State and the United States Department of Health and Human Services for his work.

     Laura Anthony, MD, received her Doctor of Medicine degree from   University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester,   Massachusetts and completed her post-doctoral residency at the   Brown Family Medicine Residency Program in Pawtucket, Rhode   Island. As a family medicine physician, she is equipped with the   training to provide comprehensive health care for individuals of all ages and their families. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a Barnstable High School graduate. As a native Cape Codder, Dr. Anthony is excited to return home to help address the region’s health care needs. She is practicing out of OCHS’ expanded community health center in Harwich Port.

     Kimberly Irvine, FNP-BC, has been hired as a family nurse   practitioner, seeing patients of all ages at OCHS Harwich   Port. Previously, she worked at a private medical practice in   Brewster. Ms. Irvine graduated from Regis University with a   Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration of Family   Practice. She also attended California State University, Chico   where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Ms.   Irvine is a member of the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse   Practitioners and certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her areas of interest include pediatric, adolescent, and women’s health. At OCHS, Ms. Irvine will also be the organization’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) “Super User” responsible for training new clinical staff on use of the EHR, and optimizing the EHR for best practices and care delivery.
