    Chatham Bars Inn’s Executive Chef Anthony Cole Makes Debut
     at Prestigious James Beard House
    Chatham, MA – November 12, 2019 – Chef Anthony Cole, Executive Chef at the iconic Chatham Bars Inn, made his debut last week at the landmark James Beard House in New York City. Beginning with a fundraising dinner cooked by Wolfgang Puck in early 1987, the James Beard House has become a milestone in the careers of chefs including Tom Colicchio, Marcus Samuelsson, Nancy Silverton, and Dominique Crenn.

    Chef Cole, along with the inn’s culinary team, prepared a five-course dinner consisting of coastal-inspired cuisine made with ingredients from the resort’s 8-acre farm in Brewster and locally-sourced seafood. Menu highlights included Chatham oysters on the half shell with barrel-aged red wine vinegar and green peppercorn mignonette; Northeast Family Farms roasted beef loin with Eastham turnips, braised kale, and oxtail–red wine sauce; and wild flower–honey mousse with gingered Asian pear, rosemary cream, and cassis–pear sorbet.
    The creative mastermind behind Chatham Bars Inn’s renowned culinary program, Executive Chef Anthony Cole has been with the resort for more than 13 years and oversees the evolution and innovation of its restaurants. Chef Cole was joined at the James Beard House by Chatham Bars Inn’s dynamic food and beverage team, including Kyung Lee (Director of Food & Beverage), Kevin Curtin (Executive Sous Chef), Christopher Jenkins (Chef de Cuisine), and Dean Iampietro (Service Director).
