Chatham Selectmen invite you to a Virtual COVID-19
Community Forum on May 11, 2020 from 6PM-9PM
We hope this invitation finds you and your loved ones well. We are certainly living in unprecedented times as we are all in this COVID-19 pandemic together.
As we await word on when the Governor will lift the State’s COVID-19 stay-at-home advisory and closure order for non-essential businesses, the Chatham Board of Selectmen is already wrestling with a number of significant decisions heading into the summer season. In the coming weeks, we will need to figure out how, when – or if – various events we host here in Chatham should be postponed, re-scheduled or cancelled. We also need to determine how to best “re-open for business” more broadly when the time comes.
But before we, as a Board, make any decisions, we want to hear from you!
To facilitate that, on Monday, May 11, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., we are hosting a virtual town-wide community forum via the Zoom video conference platform that seeks input from residents, businesses and the non-profit community on how to best balance public health and vital economic concerns.
