Job Summary:
St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church in Chatham seeks an organized, dependable part-time office assistant for church operations.
Candidate will provide a variety of office support tasks while being responsive to parishioners and staff. The ideal candidate will have prior clerical and computer experience (Word/Excel/ Google Calendar), strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in a sensitive environment. Church office is open T-F, and hours will be flexible. Position is 15-17 hours per week, no benefits, salary commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with general office tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and updating the church office calendar.
- Assisting with church event planning and coordination working with other staff and volunteers
- Maintaining church records and databases

Skills:
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Google Calendar
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
This position is part-time, approximately 15-17 hours/week and offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and community-focused environment. Salary is commensurate with experience.
