    Cape Cod Healthcare Announces April Blood Drives  

     
    (Hyannis, March 31) Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital are in urgent need of blood donations. Numerous blood drives are being held across Cape Cod in April to benefit Cape Cod Healthcare (CCHC). Cape Cod and Falmouth hospitals must have at least one week’s worth of blood on hand at all times. Since each unit collected or purchased only lasts 42 days, it is a constant challenge to maintain sufficient supply. All the blood collected at Cape Cod Healthcare blood drives stays on Cape Cod to help our families, friends and neighbors. 
     
    Donors to CCHC blood drives in April will receive a Stop & Shop gift card.
     
    Cape Cod Healthcare blood drives are scheduled in the coming weeks, including:

    • April 1: 10:40 a.m. – 5 p.m., Dennis Police, 90 Bob Crowell Road, Dennis
    • April 2: 9:40 a.m. – 4 p.m., Cape Cod Church, 1205 Nathan Ellis Highway, East Falmouth
    • April 5: 9:40 a.m. – 4 p.m., Barnstable Police Department, 1200 Phinney’s Lane, Barnstable
    • April 8: 10:40 a.m. – 5 p.m., Christ the King Church, 3 Jobs Fishing Road, Mashpee
    • April 9: 10:40 a.m. – 5 p.m., Harwich Police Department, 183 Sisson Road, Harwich
    • April 10: 9:40 a.m. – 4 p.m., Bass River Rod & Gun Club, 621 Route 6A, Yarmouth Port
    • April 16: 9:40 a.m. – 4 p.m., Orleans Police Department, 99 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans

    • April 24: 9:40 a.m. – 4 p.m., Northside United Methodist Church, 701 Airline Road, Brewster
    • April 26: 10:40 a.m. – 5 p.m., Chatham Works, 323 Orleans Road, N. Chatham
    • April 29: 9:40 a.m. - 4 p.m., John Wesley United Methodist Church, 270 Gifford St., Falmouth
    • April 30: 10:40 a.m. – 5 p.m., Sandwich Library, 142 Main Street, Sandwich
