The Town of Chatham is inviting residents, visitors, seasonal homeowners, employees, and business owners to help shape the future of Chatham’s open spaces and recreation areas by participating in the Open Space & Recreation Plan Survey. The survey deadline has officially been extended to June 3, 2026.

This ten-year planning effort will help guide future conservation, recreation, and open space priorities throughout Chatham. Community feedback will directly influence goals and improvements for the town’s parks, trails, beaches, and public spaces.

In addition to the survey, the Town is also encouraging participation in a fun “Field Notes” community activity where participants can share ideas, memories, and wishes for Chatham’s open spaces through a simple Mad Lib-style worksheet.
